Is it really that slow??
I really don't understand as I have a fast cable connection, see below, did testing at speedtest.nl just 3 min.s ago:


I have a 8 Mbit down and 1.2 Mbit upload cable connection.
Could someone maybe test this link again, maybe it's something else on my webserver that's the problem..

It's a movie from Lock nr. 18 on the "Zuid-Willemsvaart" channel in Bocholt-Belgium.

My connection is 20Mbps Down and 1Mb updload...

The transfert with your server was 62,1Ko/sec
If I download on at ftp://ftp.proxad.net/mirrors/linux-azur.org/kla/ a file of 690Mo I dowload at 760Ko/sec ....

PS : I downloaded without FTP software, but with HTTP protocol.

That isn't really bad at all, it's on the webserver on my own pc, it's not on a commercial webserver!!!

I have more then 90 Gb online on my webserver(more then 80 Gb mp3's), do you know any commercial webhosting company who offer that for let's say 80 euro a year?

It'snt really bad, but the first time I tried to look this video, I looked on my screen "Buffer... Buffer..Buffer".. and I known some members of this forum has a connection 512Mb...

the file locally on your harddisk...
